THE TMJ Update

Well, it is official. The time with the translucent retainer is about to end. THANK GOODNESS. However, at my last day of the Pocatello experience, I discovered my fate. BRACES. Goo. It's official. I have to get braces.

So, those of you who have had braces before. Do you vote for

Option 1: Clear Braces

or Option 2: Regular braces.
AND does anyone know of a doctor that applies these precious little life savers:
If you are debating in your head right now if you should post advice, sympathy, condolences, or recommendations of orthodontists in the Provo/SLC area...you probably should :)

So our furnace repair guy was actually telling me about his daughter getting those inside braces and how they work. I would go with those.

I love you. That's all. :)

I had to get braces in 11th grade! I thought it was the end of the world. At least people are kinder at our age than your peers are at age 17. Love you tons. Go with the clear or inside.

I have a permanent retainer on my lower teeth that is behind my teeth. Get one of those when you are done. It's fabulous.

Clear braces are a lot more expensive, I think? I don't really know. I had regular braces, but I was in 5th/6th grade, so maybe it's different. I don't think they are bad, though.

Jeff would like to get braces, too, but man they are pricey. Especially when you are older - at least, our dental insurance doesn't cover much for orthodontic work when you are over 18.

I have a permanent braces retainer for the bottom teeth and then had braces on top and bottom... If you do the ones on the inside they're a real pain at first - just a heads up. Then again, you might not care.
I think that I would do clear braces if I were getting them now -they weren't available when I was younger.
