Student: "Miss Anderson, my sister's guinea pig had babies and she cut off the umbilical cord."
Me: "She did?! By herself?"
Student: "Yes. It's not a big deal. It's just an umbilical cord. She kept it."
Me: "Why?! Gross"
Student: "Doesn't didn't your mom save your umbilical cord?"
Me: "No, why would she do that? That's weird."
Student: "Why? My mom has mine."
Me: "REALLY?! What does she do with it?"
Student: "I don't know. I figure it's just one of those things you only get one of in life so you don't want to loose it."
